2023 - Our Favourite Year Yet

It’s the holiday season, and although Customer Relationship Management software might not top the list of thrilling topics of conversation at your Christmas parties, it is at ours here at 1CRM. We are the enthusiastic bunch in the corner passionately discussing data cleanliness, third-party app integration, and the art of customer profile segregation… It’s our kind of fun, and we know that you, our devoted customers, appreciate it just as much.

This year has been exceptionally exciting for us, filled with breakthroughs and innovations that we are eager to share, so as the holiday season draws near, I’ve gathered insights from the team on their favourite 1CRM features introduced this year. And to top it off, I’ll share a sneak peek into the 1CRM 9 project, our most ambitious upgrade to date, promising to revolutionize your 1CRM experience.

Electronic Signature Integration (ConsignO Cloud)

When we first thought to integrate our document flow with electronic signatures, we weren’t anticipating just how excited you would all be to adopt it too. Here are some of the features I was excited to learn about:

Enhanced Document Workflow: Being able to simply click a button and send signed Quotes to customers makes life much easier!
Customizable Documents: Using the existing PDF Form Editor to create or modify templates gives our customers’ sales teams a unique edge when getting customer signatures.
Enhanced Security and Compliance: To hear that 1CRM Electronically signed documents are so secure that they are admissible in court will give customers the confidence that the person signing is who they say they are. Audit logs also give customers the peace of mind to see what happened and when in the signing process.

As we enter 2024, we will look to improve our coupling to the fantastic ConsignO Cloud software and offer a bundled package that includes CRM and Electronic Signatures.

1CRM Version 8.7

Version 8.7 is the end-result of over a developer year of improvements to the 1CRM architecture. As well as delivering (even better) performance to the 1CRM app, we have also benefited from improved code practices and security that PHP 8.1 is able to offer. On top of this, some of the key features we have added this year are:

Modern Authentication: Tightening email security through API integration to key players in the email game. Both email for Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace are now supported through 1CRM.
QuickBooks Online: Connecting 1CRM to QuickBooks has never been easier, launching in late December/early January we are happy to announce a configurable integration between 1CRM and QuickBooks online.
Make: Supported by our state-of-the-art REST API, Make allows no-code integrations between 1CRM and thousands of apps.

1CRM 9 - Launching in 2024

After three years of development, we are incredibly excited to share 1CRM 9 with you all, 1CRM 9 promises to be the biggest improvement to 1CRM since it first hit the shelves almost 20 years ago…

As well as beefing up performance and scalability, we’ll be adding some of these key features from version 9.0:

Charts: We’ll be providing all new charts to provide a modern feeling and responsive display of all of your favourite dashboard items.
Theme Designer: Customize the UI like never before, with new options to choose the position of your Group Tab menu, shortcuts and last viewed. As well as a new colour picker to choose the exact presentation that matches your organization’s identity.
Dark Mode: Toggle between dark and light mode for the optimum experience.
Sales Stage Picker: All new interactive sales stage picker allows you to quickly update your opportunities without having to enter Edit mode.
Live Editing: Live Edit your records from either the list view, or the detail view. We’ll be rolling this out in phases, so get excited to see the first batch of live editable fields from 9.0.

1CRM 9 promises to be more customizable, more powerful, and more scalable than ever before, we are using the latests technologies and programming languages on the market to deliver the best 1CRM experience to date.
